That shot of the crazy scree runner is absolutely fab! The pitch of the rock field, the texture, the shiny athletic guy: it really came together!! Great shots and story. Best for all the next adventures!
Great Gable is my favourite fell, bar none. I ascended (first time) via the route you describe and descended back down Windy Gap and then via Aaron Slack to Styhead Tarn. Aaron Slack is, ironically, one of my least favourite stretches of rock. I have dodgy knees and it was raining hard and blowing a gale. I was delighted to get o the tarn before heading back to Seathwaite.
This confirms my long-held suspicion that Brits are all fucking crazy. Fab photos!
I wouldn’t argue with that Lee! And thanks by the way.
Lovely! Most enjoyable walk, nice views, and I didn’t even have to break a sweat 😄
The Lake District and Snowdonia are among the places I have to see at some point. My bucket list destinations.
You really have to Jakub. Snowdonia is on mine! I have never been to that part of Wales.

Wow, that looks like rough terrain! I agree with you on the dogs on both accounts…
Great photos, but the trail runner blows my mind!
Thanks Susanne. Affirmation! I do really love the shot.
I appreciate you sharing the stories and images of these places. As much as I'd love to get to them, it's not likely.
Great Gable is such a beautiful mountain; and a real achievement. Such a superb write-up, too; and the images aren’t bad, either! Thank you so much!
You can feel the excitement in the shot of that guy running, great job
I needed that, Paul. Fantastic photos.

Well done 👍 Paul. Stunning photos 🤩
