So glad you found these and shared. I love that first one especially.

Floordrobes - I like that. Accurate and very descriptive and I usually have at least one. As for 'those' drawers, that's pretty much standard in our house. Now and again we get organised, only for it to descend into chaos, seemingly over night if not sooner. My shed's no better. I have these fantasies of an organised, useable bench, with drawers/racks of tools, materials neatly stood/stacked/shelved. Alas, they'll never be more than fantasies. The actual shed is an absolute chaotic nightmare. So times, when I've been knocking/tripping over piles of random stuff, I just lose the plot and walk out, blanking the whole debacle from my reeling mind...🤯

....anyway, I'm glad you found the card - some beautiful shots! Thanks for sharing😃

The shed and its contents would make a great little photo project Ralph!

I’d be too embarrassed to show the photos to anyone… it’d be enough to give anyone the heebeegeebees😳😱😵😵‍💫🤣

Nice eye.

I have a woodworker friend who refuseds to build drawers into his tables. They are just for collecting junk you will forget about and someone will be tasked to throw away when you die, is his reasoning. It's perhaps a good thesis, but in my case, I'll never know. 🤔

Can I place an order!

A gift from the Gods of Forgetting!

Wow what a find Paul, fabulous pictures - I love that opening and the 8th image in particular.

Thanks Lin. The opener is my favourite too.

Paul, you sound like a kindred ADHD spirit. My spouse despairs of my floordrobes, but even after forty-some-odd years of marriage still tries to get me to move them. I love your found photos, and wish I had some of my own stashed away somewhere. May I borrow some of yours?

Paul Maven's avatar

Consider them on permanent loan!

Nice reminder of expat taxes on a morning such as this...

That first shot. Exquisite little trees down there. Wouldn't mind it on my wall. Last shot is strong, too.

Send me an address and I will send you one!

These are great photos. Glad you found the card. I pulled an old OM film camera out of a storage bin in my garage recently. It was given to me years ago and I had no idea how to use it. Thought I’d give it a go now that I have a bit more knowledge. Alas, the shutter is stuck and I had forgotten that. But there was a roll of film still in it that was partly used up. I’m looking forward to sending it off and see if I get that expired film look. We’re talking years here. Might be a waste of money but the mystery is killing me.

I hope you get a result from the film. Exciting!

Drawers? I have boxes that frighten the crap out of me. I know I really should get them sorted but always chicken out until I absolutely need something from one of them. It's usually in the box at the bottom of the stack....

That’s the kind of find I could use a little more of in my life!

I’m glad you found that SD card. Beautiful photos.

I’m in the process of moving and cleaning up / deleting redundant A LOT of bookmarks from Chtome to Safari. It’s led me to find links to stuff I thought had gone forever. I cleared out a drawer last week and found half a dozen rolls of 35mm film - all exposed but I have no recollection of what might be on them. I doubt it’ll be much but I’ll get them processed and scanned asap.

Thanks Paul. Bet you can’t wait to get them back and I hope you have some nuggets!

It'll be interesting, Paul, but I'm not expecting masterpieces...!
